The Gordian Developer Meeting on March 4, 2026 mentioned the new technology overview video, but focused in main on two topics:

  • XIDs. XIDs, or eXtensible Identifiers, are a new methodology for self-sovereign identity (SSI), intended to truly put the power back into the hands of the holders.
  • Garner. SSI isn’t enough! You also needs ways to transmit your SSI information without censorship, coercion, or other corruption. That’s what Garner enables.
